Unable to enable add-ins in Outlook

Nothing happens when attempting to enable an add-in in Outlook.

[Solution 1] Clear the disabled items list


  1. Open the Outlook app.
  2. Open File and click Options.
  3. Open Add-ins.
  4. Select Disabled Items next to Manage and click Go...
  5. Select the add-ins you wish to re-enable and click Enable.
  6. Close and restart the Outlook app.
  7. Open File and select Options.
  8. Open Add-ins.
  9. Select COM Add-ins next to Manage and click Go...
  10. Check the add-ins you wish to enable and click OK to save the settings.
  11. Close and restart the Outlook app.
